Japanese pottery artist is named Izena, his own kiln in Okinawa.
The strongly handcrafted character and sophisticated color of the vessels will add tranquility and opulence to our restaurant.
Some beautiful new plates, I must say. And some classics ones too. but What I found most revealing was the master pottery artist Izena-san's splits.
My restaurant got 12 kinds of original pottery with imaged Riyadh landscape from him for renovation opening in 2017.
It’s small in case, the only master, but he provided creative plates was amazing even a price much higher than major factory productions in Japan.
It’s not a big business for him and doesn’t want to be.
Even so, this master accepted my requests.
That's why I must visit here and must watch his process, saw how the plate was made by great skills.
It was an eye-opener, gave quite enlightening to me.
I explained some feedback from our regular guests about his reputable plates in Riyadh and was bowled over to be told they love at all.
And I would as Japanese cuisine chef, recommend using handcraft plates for your concept dishes.
The artist plates have a special appeal.
Our restaurant is giving his plates -Grilled beef, Lobster tempura, assorted sushi rolls, dessert and so on – signature treatment.
His pottery usually sold at the small store or to neighborhood luxurious hotels in his city.
This plate is not only shown in my food design.
Producing it is a collaborated with Riyadh.
